The Thrill of Hope

It’s one of our favorite Christmas songs, “the thrill of hope, a weary world rejoices…”
And we are weary world in need of joy.
We always have been…

Christmas is the whisper of hope in our hearts.
It’s the silent tug of our souls hinting at the good yet to come.

Join us this Christmas season as we unwrap the thrill of hope.

Frequently Asked Questions

What to expect

At Calvary Harvest Fields, you’ll be welcomed into a friendly, casual environment.  We have four identical service times to choose from over the three days leading up to Christmas.  Each service lasts about 60 minutes and you can expect a celebration of Christmas with a full band, carol singing, candles for Silent Night, a message of encouragement from the Bible, and free coffee (or tea or hot cocoa)!

Doors to the auditorium will open 20 minutes prior to each service, so plan to arrive in plenty of time to park, grab some coffee, head to the auditorium, and get settled in your seat.

Can I come if I'm ......?

Fill in the blank with whatever fear you have about not being accepted: divorced, single parent, broke, an addict, bi-racial, a skeptic, etc. You are welcome at Calvary.

What about our kids?

Christmas is better with family and that’s why our Christmas services are designed for the whole family.  Activity packets will be provided for children who attend with family.  If you’re worried about a noisy infant or toddler, we have areas in the Commons where you can watch the service while your child plays.

Calvary Kids will provide care for infant through preschool-aged children during all services.   Please be sure to RSVP for your nursery and preschool-aged children when you RSVP so we can be ready to welcome you.  Any questions about the kids experience can be answered by emailing Kim at kasublett@calvarysc.org.

What do I wear?

We’re pretty relaxed at Calvary.  Some people may get dressed up for Christmas, so if that’s you, go for it!  Otherwise, just come in what you’d wear to Christmas with your family.

Where do I park?

There is ample parking available in the lots surrounding the church.  At the busier services, members of the parking team will be directing traffic.

Is your building handicap accessible?

Yes! We have no stairs at all in our building!

Do I need to RSVP?

No, you don’t have to. It just allows us to make sure we have enough seating and candles for all who plan to attend.

What if I need to cancel my tickets at late notice?

If you need to cancel, we only ask that you let us know so we can release your tickets to others. In this case, just email (info@calvarysc.org) us to let us know.

I have another question
